Between 1729 and 1739, JS BACH frequently plays at the Zimmermann café in Leipzig, where he lives.

Every week, he conducts the COLEGIUM MUSICUM, an ensemble created by Telemann.

We played there all contemporary composers: German, French, Italian, Flemish.…
We wanted to recreate this friendly and popular way of offering baroque music,

by presenting what particularly touches us in the pieces we have chosen for the occasion.

As in a "tavern", where you can drink and eat, the public is invited to choose from several menus, such as our"Tasting menu", the menu“Bach father and son”, the menu“Bach à la carte”, the menu“Couperin the sensitive, Bach the spiritual”, and others which are still under study… oops, sorry:in the kitchen!

Tasting menu

For this menu, we imagined a program in the form of short suites, each associating several composers.

Like during a wine tasting, they are assembled byneighboring tones/grape varieties or vintages in order to move from one style/winemaker to another and thus allow you to better identify their characteristic aromas.

So,at the table of JS Bach This evening, gentlemen Vivaldi, Handel, Telemann, Locatelli, Couperin, Rameau, CPE Bach and even… Mozart are invited!

Good tasting!
